Alla Vorokhta - famous Odessa artist, graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Her graphic illustrations are exhibited at the Literary Museum in Odessa, decorate editions of works by E. Schwartz, Y. Olesha, H.C. Andersen and many others.
Alla was born in Odessa in 1946, graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Pedagogical Institute in 1971. After work on distribution in Chernivtsi region returned to Odessa, taught drawing and painting at the pedagogical institute. Passed an internship at the Academy of Arts. I. Repin. Created a series of graphic works "Legend of the Carpathians" (linocut). Alla mastered the technique of etching, was engaged in such types of decorative and applied arts like macrame, batik, thread.
